Two dogs are seen guarding a bicycle in Nanjing, capital of southern China’s Guangxi Province. According to owner Luo Ganren, the pair are protective of him and his possessions. My bike has no lock, and I never worry it would be stolen, thanks to my two puppies. They will guard the bike by holding the bars until they see me back. Wow - how elegant is this space? The pocket french doors really got my attention. Its not everyday that you see them like this. Pocket doors in general are a nifty little way to open up a space with out taking up a lot of space.

A post of a different kind today :) I want to introduce you to a site that I trawl reguarly. Called “Wreck of the Week”, it features neglected houses, barns, cottages, flats, churches, pubs, mansions - whatever! that are ripe for renovation and a little TLC. I can literally spend hours looking though all the posts and links to various estate agents & auction houses, day dreaming about a reno project on a remote Scottish Isle or a cottage in Dorset - * ah sigh…* if only. Take a peek. If you actually enjoy dreaming about house reno’s like I do then you’ll love this site, but be warned! You might never leave!
